Job Title: Technician Level 2 (Non - Apprentice)

Work Hours: 7:30 am to 4:00 pm - Monday through Friday, may require some evenings and weekends

Primary Job Function

Follow instructions of project lead, managers and dispatcher. Perform routine cleaning of ductwork and dryer vents. Perform routine furnace and air conditioning tune-ups and filter changes. Install equipment both retrofit and new construction with assistance from supervisors. Pick up and deliver parts as directed and needed. Build panning, boot covers, literature racks and other parts as needed.

Qualifications

Same qualifications as a Technician 1 level with addition of the following:

Must have a mechanical aptitude for the HVAC trade. Perform filter changes unassisted. Perform furnace and air conditioning tune ups with assistance. Follow direction as given. Able to work from 4' to 32' ladders. Able to lift 80 pounds. Required to pass EPA certification for universal card. (First test paid for by AQM)

Daily Duties

  • Uniform on and ready to work at start time.
  • Sweep shop, clean bathroom and build shop metal as needed and/or directed
  • Relocate from one project to another as dispatched
  • Report to dispatcher when arriving and leaving a project
  • Follow instructions and carry out work in a timely manner
  • Report any problems with tools or equipment to manager or dispatcher
  • Attend and participate in all team meetings and training. Includes safety training.
  • Customer interaction, communication and collection of monies of services performed
  • Duct cleaning of homes and businesses (includes Meth cleanings)
  • Dryer vent cleaning
  • Furnace cleanings, learn and perform tune-ups
  • Air conditioning cleanings, learn and perform tune-ups
  • Responsible for keeping duct cleaning machine & hoses clean and in working order
  • Responsible for keeping up on needed duct cleaning supplies
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times
  • Keep van clean and organized daily
  • Attend after hour wholesaler training on own time (suggested)
  • Possible on call status
  • Other duties as assigned
